SERVES: As many as you want


  • Assorted in season fruit Eg. Bananas, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, kiwifruit, apple, oranges, pear, melon
  • 1/2 cup of coconut flakes
  • 2/3 cup of runny honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 lemon
  • Wooden skewers


  1. Preheat oven to 200°C
  2. Spread coconut onto a baking tray and carefully toast in the oven, for 5 min.
  3. Heat the honey, cinnamon and juice from half a lemon in a saucepan or microwave until hot and melted, but not boiling.
  4. Cut up fruit into pieces that will thread easily onto skewers
  5. Thread a mixture of different fruits onto each skewer
  6. Place on a large plate and brush kebabs with the honey mixture (or drizzle)
  7. Roll kebabs in the coconut to coat them
  8. Best eaten straight away
