Ingredients

  • 15 orange or lemon
  • 250g sugar
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • ¾ tsp powdered ascorbic acid (Vitamin C)
  • Soda water

Method

  1. Thinly peel skin from oranges or lemons.
  2. Put in food processor with sugar and acid and chop finely.
  3. Add hot water and process until sugar dissolves.
  4. Add juice squeezed from the fruit, then strain out all the “bits”.
  5. Bottle and refrigerate up to 2 weeks.
  6. Dilute with soda water as needed.Note: Vary the amount of acid to taste
