- 15 orange or lemon
- 250g sugar
- 1 Cup hot water
- ¾ tsp powdered ascorbic acid (Vitamin C)
- Soda water
- Thinly peel skin from oranges or lemons.
- Put in food processor with sugar and acid and chop finely.
- Add hot water and process until sugar dissolves.
- Add juice squeezed from the fruit, then strain out all the “bits”.
- Bottle and refrigerate up to 2 weeks.
- Dilute with soda water as needed.Note: Vary the amount of acid to taste
