Make a Bird Frightener

MATERIALS

• Old CDs
• String
• Scissors
• Paint
• Paint brushes
• Long thin stick

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Use the paint to paint swirls on the shiny side of the c.d, 2 or 3 on each frightener is good.
2. Once this is dry, use the string to tie the c.ds together.
3. Attach the string to the long stick and place in the garden where you want to frighten the birds away from.
4. The birds don’t like the shiny flashing colours.
