What services do we offer your school:
- We come to your school by invitation, and with you, plan a programme to meet your gardening and cooking needs
- We provide a team of volunteers to assist teachers and students to establish vegetable gardens, plant fruit trees and cook tasty food in three or more practical sessions over a school term
- We ensure a low child-adult ratio so that your students have enjoyable and meaningful learning experiences
- We supply all kitchen and gardening equipment
- We locate community resources to support your school
- We provide expert horticultural advice and guidance free of charge, and run workshops
- We assist with applications for funding to support your gardens
- We mentor your school for 6 months after the programme has finished, to ensure sustainability
